In partnership with our friends at Major League Hacking and Softheon, this year's theme is IoT & Security and will incorporate both physical build and capture the flag components.

Northwell Health Challenge: API Baking

In this challenge, teams will be asked to utilize Northwell proprietary and public APIs to create a friendly patient or provider experience for reviewing patient health records. Develop a friendly UI that makes Patient Data more accessible and easily navigated and you'll win $1,000 and a VIP tour of the Northwell Innovation Center and one-on-one time with Vish Anantraman - Northwell's Chief Innovation Officer.

Northwell Health Challenge: No-Show Predictive

Do you ever make a doctor's appointment only to skip it? Why do people not show up to their own health care appointments? Is it the weather? The distance? Traffic? We'll give you a large data set on no-show appointments. Your goal is to help us predict which appointments are likely to be missed. Develop a model and you'll win $1,000 and a VIP tour of the Northwell Innovation Center and one-on-one time with Vish Anantraman - Northwell's Chief Innovation Officer.
